I grew up struggling with my skin. I checked mirrors constantly, avoided certain lighting, and woke up hoping it would be a good skin day, which it rarely was.

Back then, there was never a clear reason why my skin looked the way it did. Some dermatologists said diet. Others said hormones. There was no concise answer, so I took things into my own hands.

I tried so many products, different formulas, different routines. Nothing worked long term, which eventually led me to Accutane, which was a huge milestone in my skin journey. It helped clear my skin, but it also came with a lot of unwanted side effects that forced me to think differently about what I was putting on and into my body.

Over time, my skin improved. But the confusion didn’t.

Walking into skincare stores felt overwhelming. Shelves filled with products selling a dream, often fronted by models with flawless skin, but very little clarity about what actually worked in real life. I didn’t want hype. I wanted something I could trust and rely on every day.

The constant trial and error eventually became exhausting.

I was tired of pairing random products together. Tired of running out after a few weeks. Tired of overcomplicating something that should feel simple.

So I decided to solve my own problem.

Masance was built to create a refined, intentional routine. One that supports the look of healthier, more balanced skin without taking up all your time or your money.

My goal was never to do more steps.
